I had to work today, and fly on a business trip! I couldn't advance in my fashion journey! But tomorrow I'll be home and I will have time to design! I have a dress to sew and to deliver on time for one of my friends!

Papers!! Papers!! I had to go to the bank again, to complete accounts, and documents for my visa, I waited in line for like 1 hour or so, It is time consuming!!! I'm not really enjoying this part of the trip!! But, what can I do, I have to do it, since the clock is ticking!! and school will start in August!! OMG!!!!

I had great news today! finally I got my bank loan. I was nervous because, I applied  with two previous banks before, and they denied me the loan. Now, I'm getting really ready for Manhattan and the Fashion Institute!

Long Story short! I told you guys, that I applied (last year) to the Fashion Institute for a One- Year Accelerated Program for Fashion Design. The odds of getting accepted were so minimun considering the application process. So I had only one shot to apply for Fashion School.
Around the third week of April of 2012, I got my final answer: I WAS ACCEPTED TO FIT!!!. This is the moment when things turned really interesting, as I was not prepare for this change yet !!

Since my decision on becoming a Fashion Designer, I decided to start a quest in order to find one of the best fashion design programs in the world, as well as economically feasible.
On September 15 of 2011, I went to New York to search for some schools, and that is how I found the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan.
When I entered the campus, I felt that I was in the right place, so without having second thoughts, I decided to apply the following month.
To be honest, I decided that I was only going to try one time to apply to FIT. I truly believed that forcing plans takes you nowhere, so I put all my hopes in one single shot!!!

On July of 2011, I chose to pursue my dream to become a Fashion Designer. I decided that I needed to explore if I had what it takes to become a great designer.
At 27 I already achieved a Bachelors Degree and an MBA, but I still had this strong feeling that I needed something else. My passion for fashion design had outgrown my professional achievements, so I took the decision to follow my heart and start a great adventure of my life...
